SealSkin Uses

  • Use SealSkin prior to transfers to and from the OR table and positioning to:

    • Secure lines, maintain access to ports and preserve their function
    • Manage lines more safely by securing them together to prevent accidental removal
  • Use SealSkin after final positioning by:

    • Securing arms to arm boards and airplane slings
    • Securing legs in lithotomy
    • Securing padded areas to prevent pressure injuries
    • Securing temporary urinary catheters to prevent tugging on the urethra
    • Wrapping cords, lines, and tubing during draping to improve access and prevent migration

How To Use SealSkin

  • Apply SealSkin Wrap 2 to 3 inches above and below site to ensure a watertight seal

  • While wrapping, keep SealSkin taut to provide better control and coverage

  • Use scissors or your thumb to tear the wrap off at the desired length and seal the end in place with your hand

  • Change wrap after shower and dry
